Missrecalled TDM 1

You aren't sure how you landed here, or even where here is. But here you are. Some new place. Or maybe... maybe it is familiar. Maybe not. So... where are you?

AURADON

Welcome to Auradon! You have woken up in the perfectly manicured grass before a large castle. You're not the only one! if you follow the path to the Castle you'll discover it is the dorm for a large school attached at the back. Everything is amazing and elegant. There is a wing of rooms that are meant for girls, which are generally full of pink and white and sparkles and lace and frills. Very few of the doors are locked, but a lot of them are filled with personal belongings, like these were someone's rooms.

The rooms meant for boys are much the same, though they are more blue and green and flannel. But again, most of the doors are unlocked, even though the rooms look lived in.

On both sides, the rooms each have two beds, and two of everything.

The grounds themselves are well kept and neat with flowers and bushes and lots of places for sitting on the grass to enjoy the sun or share a picnic.

What is missing - in the dorms, on the grounds, in the perfectly clean classrooms are... people. The only people around are those who seem like you, newly arrived and confused.

And then, rushing right at you, are animals. Birds and rabbits and stray cats and dogs!

The Isle

You are in a graveyard. an old poorly cared for graveyard littered with trash. Old crushed cups and molded fruit cores. The whole place had an air of neglects with weeds springing up around what at first seemed to be tomb stones...

But a closer look might make one question them. For these were not tomb stones at all. There were no graves and what was carved into them wasn't names of the dearly departed, but rather sayings exulting evil. Celebrating it. These my dears, were doom stones.

But if the graveyard wasn't a graveyard, then what was the mausoleum that lorded over it all? Going inside would reveal it to be one of the most depressing suffocating horror houses of all - a high school. A poorly kept high school with drafty classrooms, a basement that stunk of mold and chemicals, and trash and graffiti everywhere. Many lockers are dented from the inside out, like something had been trying to escape. But it was eerily quiet now.

Some doors are locked. Most are not. But everything is just in a state of disrepair. One door has a giant spider guarding it, but everything else seems... deserted. Like this school had been abandoned long ago. With even the lights flickering, the whole thing feels almost haunted.

But if you try to use any magic or powers to light the way you might just find the scariest thing of all...

NO MAGIC WORKS HERE!

Welcome to the Isle of the Lost, explore if you dare....

She nodded and looked around. She picked a door at random and pointed. It was partially open, but not enough to see in. But if it was open, it was probably vacant, right?

Sae'sha went for the door first, listening as she did. It would be more effective if she was better at picking out sound sources, but at the very least she had good ears.

Thankfully it was an empty one. Elianne stood statue still, waiting.

That determined, Sæ'sha looked back to the kid. "Alright Thrai, I'll keep watch out here. Let me know when you're ready for me to come in, huh?"

She nodded and slipped in. She was quick when she changed and then knocked to let her know it was safe. Her black clothes were folded up, except the shirt with the string tie sleeves. The rest of the clothes she was wearing came from the locker, including the jacket that was too big, th vest that was too small, and the pants that.... even rolled were way too large. She was swimming in them with a tattered cloth tied as a belt to keep them up.

Sæ'sha didn't comment on any of them, just grateful to get her coat back. She put it back on first, decidedly more comfortable for having done so. And then she dedicated her attention to the door they'd just come in, checking if it could lock and how to barricade it if they ended up needing to for some reason.

"We take turns leaning against it?" she asked, seeing the look. She was used to living like that. Not with Morse. No one was stupid enough to try and mess with Morse. But before. Back when she... Back before. But she never took many turns at the door. Sever.... she gagged. Just thinking about him she gagged and doubled over, fighting the angry tears that threatened. She crumpled to the floor and clung to her new clothes, trying not to scream. Puking wasn't much of an issue, she hadn't eaten enough to worry about losing anything.

Sæ'sha was a big fan of work smarter not harder, but didn't really get a chance to say that. When she saw the kid doubled over she frowned. He first task was shoving a table that weighed more than either of them against the door.

And then she sat on the ground, not right next to the kid, but not far out either. "Hey, Thrai. The door is blocked, you're safe, huh?"

She swallowed convulsively a few times and then scrubbed at her mouth with the back of her hand. "I want my ocean wall knife back," she grumbled.

Sæ'sha snorted. "Ie. I've got some weapons I really. Really want back too. I mean, I can get by without them, but it feels... weird." The word was vulnerable, she refused to potato well say it.

"Not to mention the swearing and... changed... you're not from here either, Thrai?" Sæ'sha scowled then, standing so she could pace. Waking up in a strange place was odd enough. Add all of this, add someone else and it was.... scary frustrating. Had they been kidnapped? Was someone watching this just for their own forestry entertainment. Now she was the one who looked ready to scream. Every bit of fear turning to anger that practically seeped off her as she paced.

"I don't like this potatoed place. I don't like that our weapons are gone and I really really don't like that they got in our heads. Shiar. I can't even think a swear word. If that could happen what else could they do?" She did not stop pacing, each turn snapping the coat into a small flare. If she had something to punch, she would.

Have a spate of not-swears at that. "How the hopes do we get them the hopes out of our ocean wall heads?"

"How the forest should I know. I... just want to get back home." She had been so angry, she was still so angry. But right now she would hug and latch onto a very confused Rren if she could. "Seeing as I don't know how to do that either. We just. See what we can learn. And keep ourselves safe, huh?"

She considered and eyed the desks. "Think we can break the metal bits off of whatever these are?" Glass bottles would be good too. No one knew Brecht without knowing how good a weapon a broken booze bottle was.

Sae'sha considered. "Look around through the rest of the room. See if there's anything that looks useful. Just steer clear of where I'm working, ie?"

She nodded and walked through the rows of desks. Not that she knew that was what they were called or what they were used for. They looked like weird tables. Tables were still new to her, really. Furniture had been a complete mystery to her until a few months ago. She shuddered. Maybe they were still in Barren. It was his kind of game to make people this unsettled, but since when did he have the power? And if he stopped Morse from cursing, would the fief even survive?

She found something sticky and thick under one of the over turned chairs. She poked at it. then pulled at it. Then sniffed. Was it food? She wasn't sure.
