Hearing a voice, Mal headed for it. She had been taking a patrol around the school for anything left on that needed to be shut down. She rushed forward, her boots sounding sharply and echoing through the empty halls. She came to a stop seeing the other woman.
Mal ran a hand through her dark purple hair, doing her best not to look as though she was not breathing hard. "Hi," she said, finally. It was all she was sure could come out calmly while she tried to subtly catch her breath.
