Those sorts of thoughts weren't far from Darkstalker's mind either. Scavengers had a tendency to be violent when they thought themselves to be threatened. It was hard crammed into these narrow hallways to give the appearance of having a low profile. Devoid of his usual arsenal, at least there were somethings they hadn't been able to take from him. He still had his teeth, talons, size, and powerful muscles.
"I should be so fortunate," The dragon replied airly, in a voice as smooth as silk. In this instance he meant it, since Night Wings were more nocturnal than other tribes. "Although.. I've had my fill of mountains for the time being."
"I don't think we're from the same place of origin." Just a guess, really. "The scavengers I know are... Hm.. how to put this politely, are not as well learned or eloquent as one such as yourself."
