Enki snorted at that and then shook his head. He almost said she didn’t know the half of it, but thought better of it. First, he suspected she did, second, he didn’t really want to reveal how little familiarity he actually had with… everything she’d just said. Not that he didn’t trust her or anything. He just… ie, okay, he didn’t trust her.
He rubbed the back of his neck. “You… said something about an announcement?” Maybe hearing more about whatever was happening would make it make more sense. Or less. Less was a distinct possibility.
