She nodded and opened a closet outside a teacher's office. Sure enough there were nice neat clothing in piles. She pulled out a plain pale blue skirt and a matching top with gauzy sleeves. She held them up to show the other girl how they looked.

"Should have realized," she murmured to herself seeing it together for the first time. This was almost exactly what Jane had been wearing when they first met. Apparently her mother had been picking out her clothes for her. Mal wasn't sure if that was sweet, or pitiful. thankfully Jane finally had a spine these days. She'd gotten more interesting as well.
