The smell of grass, flowers, and the not too distant ocean hit Enki before he could even begin to look around him. He hadn’t known where he would end up when he stepped through that gateway. So being here was… not terribly surprising. Even if he didn’t know where here was. He could figure it out later. His friends had safely beamed out. The gateway had been destroyed behind him. That was what mattered.
The young Rihan might have been intimidating, between his height, scars, and the slightly stolen Tal Shiar uniform he wore (which was Not comfortable at all. Thank you). Except for one very distinct factor. The moment the animals rushed his way, he knelt in the grass and put all of his focus on calming them down.
“I uh… don’t suppose any of you know where I am?” He asked the animals quietly, scratching at the breast feathers of a particularly ruffled bird. Between his voice and body language he practically broadcast calm. And it seemed to be helping.
He didn’t have the familiarity with Terrhasu to know if these animals were pets or wild, though they certainly seemed well off if the latter. He wasn’t paying enough attention to realize how empty the place was or that any people nearby seemed probably even more confused than he was. He didn’t know if there was any way to get home from where he was now.
Look, the Elements had decided to give him a problem he could solve, one actually involving helping animals no-less! He could focus on being daunted by Literally Everything Else later.
