souls_of_roles: (Kyoko - Ready To Work)
(OOC: warning for a psycho with whiplash mood swings. In painfully bright pink.)
Distraction at just the wrong moment caused Kyoko to take a snowball to the side of her face, but she hardly noticed as she stared at him, wide eyed. Her expressions were, if Yashiro was anything to go by, entertaining to watch.

An angel?! Was he an angel? With those wings he could be....
No wait, he had THREE WINGS! That meant he wasn't an angel he was... A FAIRY!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Another Fairy? She was getting to meet another fairy?! When she was just Kyoko?
She was mentally squeeing, trying to take in every last detail of him. Which was when her whole demeanor went from happy sparkles and so much glee you could almost see sparkles and flowers around her to fury and flames...
That pale hair. That too pale and perfect to be real skin. Those dark clothes. His way of standing so tall and straight like he thought he was better than everyone...
Fury then. Fury and hatred. And dark spirits starting to form around her.
She was about to take a step towards him then stopped short, all the darkness and fury fading as she took on a mildly surprised look.
Wait, no. She knew every inch of that idiot's - she couldn't even bring herself to think his name - face and form. Her Shotaro scale was even more detailed than her Tsuruga scale, just because she had wasted more of her life being stupidly obsessed with stupid useless Shotaro than she had even known Mr. Tsuruga even existed. And this man.... Was not Sho.
The darkness returned as something like an aura in disgust at having even thought Sho's name. But most of her focus was on the new guy, studying him. Nope, she was right. The length of his bones... even lifts couldn't hide that much height difference, but even if they could the length of each individual bone was different, the way the muscles connected was different. This wasn't Shotaro at all.
Relief! All the darkness faded from her again. Okay so whoever he was, he just had the misfortune to look like that idiot whose name she refused to even think of again. He just had bad luck, that was all. Bad luck.
She took a deep breath, ready to go greet him.
She pinned her sales girl smile in place and headed over.
"Hi, I'm Kyoko, welcome to Auradon!" she said brightly with a smile that was fake. Not that he'd have likely known it if he hadn't seen the whole emotional journey that led up to it. Mostly the smile was just bright. Almost as bright as her pink uniform. It was eye searingly numbingly bright. It was like a curse to look at it, that once you saw it you could never stop seeing it. It was a pink so bright that it actually reflected off the snow and got brighter. It might have been better if she wore a coat over the bright pink coveralls, but she didn't. So the LOVE ME logo was loud and proud on her chest, and her coverall looked like it was trying to out bright the sun.
