Atyak tilts his head as he listens. Sadly he has to shake his head. His voice is deep and his speech is slow and methodical, "Atyak is a male, from... huh, Atyak is not really from anywhere with a name." He bows his head in a gesture to show his own remorse for the lost of a good person. He wasn't used to there being many talking yaks, and the few there were he had a hand in the creation of. For him finding another person who knew of a talking yak outside of his party would be quite the coincidence.
He uses his hoof to pick up the garment and lay it over his broken horn. One was intact, while the other was partially replaced with a metal horn cap bolted into his horn. It was clearly custom fitted with no expenses spared, but he still takes care to keep the garment from the bolts as he gets it off the snow. "Here, now it stays dry while we chat." He wouldn't want her clothes ruined by water or stains. "Atyak does his best to be friendly too. Atyak likes people." As a general statement, he was a people yak, and liked to see people with human like faces to that smile thing they do. He tried sometimes, but a Yak showing his teeth tended to scare people, and his lips otherwise got a bit lost in the darkness of his fur. But apparently tail wags seemed to communicate joy to some people, so he makes sure to return that smile with the gentle sway of his tail.
