He nodded politely, watching as she busied herself in the kitchen while he waited for his tea to cool to a drinkable temperature. As he watched she shifted between several different faces, and he wondered if she was even aware of the fact that her features kept shifting. She certainly didn't seem to be reacting to it at all, though that could be because she was simply used to it as well.

"Forgive me if this is an odd question," he said after a moment, "but have you noticed that your facial features keep changing?" And yet, that shockingly bright attire remained
