The town and the land surrounding it stretched out before them, all lit in gold from the sunset. If there was a more perfect sight in all the worlds, he didn't know what it was.
"Looking out on it like this, it's hard to believe that there's anything wrong in all the worlds," he said quietly. "It's like... someone gathered up everything that was wonderful and nostalgic about a lazy summer evening, and put it all into one place. It feels more like home to me than my actual hometown does anymore, honestly. Well, the real one does, anyway."
