Skisan paused, seriously seeming to consider it. "I was given teaching as an assignment when I worked for others, yes. But I have continued the task since then. I do not need someone to assign it to me to realize I... enjoy teaching." He paused before picking the emotional word. It was not a choice of words that would have gone over on Vulcan. He knew there were those who already suspected he was V'tosh ka'tur, and he did not wish to muddle that matter further by using emotional words while there. However, this was not a Vulcan and sometimes such words made a bit more sense to explain motives.
