Rren stopped in the area, stunned at first and then taking everything in, but mostly, the speech. Auradon's magic meant they understood it, but they could tell it wasn't actually a language they knew, so they closed their eyes and focused on listening for a while, trying to hear what was actually said as well. When they opened their eyes they took Mallia's hand. "I... appreciate this, but you don't need to do all of this for me. I have enough to know. And even if I did not, the odds of me ending up there are so slim..."
They loved seeing all this, getting a window into Mallia's life, her friends, her people. but they didn't know how much strain it was on her.
A pause.
"Oh! I could show you some of where I am from. If you would like?"
