He was surprised and a bit confused at her reaction, but gently returned the hug after a moment. His people didn't tend towards public displays of affection like this, but Meteion always had been less inhibited in that regard. And if the tears concerned him a bit, it didn't lessen the warmth or affection in the hug. "As is yours, Meteion," he assured her. And it was true; it nearly always was. But something was a bit off. "Yet you were crying; is something wrong?"
