She wasn't aware anyone else existed, not at the moment. Holding a mirror, Mother Gothel looked like a younger and idealized version of herself. She looked maybe twenty or so. Clearly an adult, but clearly young as well. And beautiful. She was surrounded by full length mirrors, turning this way and that, clearly overjoyed.
