Do Not Adjust Your Set Cal had not arrived in Auradon long before, but the need to help in any way he could meant that he could be found in the broadcast station. After an attempt to understand the unfamiliar computer on his own, he shifted gears and found a spare cable lying around with an output plug that seemed to match one of the computer ports, which he was currently dismantling with his toolkit while BD watched, whistling his thoughts.
It might have been a bit irritating, but since it was BD's Scomp Link that Cal planned to modify, he supposed he could understand. "What do you think, BD?"
BD followed up with a rude noise that made Cal roll his eyes. "Well. Do you see something that might work better?"
BD followed up with several beeps. "You could have said that before I took this apart."
An amused whistle followed and Cal could only laugh, shaking his head. "Okay. Fine. I'll ask someone who's actually familiar with the tech here. Happy?" He looked down at the stripped cable in his hand, debating what to do with it for now.
Doomy Dooms of Doom No, Cal was not typically vindictive towards inanimate objects, but he was Frustrated. Bad enough to be dragged away from his friends, away from people who needed him. But to end up here? Where even the Force had abandoned him?
The stones had seemed to add insult to injury and even knowing he had no connection to the Force (And probably wouldn't want it as much as people seemed to worship the Dark Side here), he'd almost instinctively tried to slam one of the stones with the Force, to knock down it and its message. When that hadn't worked, he'd started hunting for manual methods. His main job as a scrapper had been a rigger. If there was one thing he could do manually, it was demolition.
As soon as he ran into someone who wasn't one of the 'teachers' he gave a bit of a grin. "Don't suppose you want to take out some frustration on those stupid stones outside with me?"
