Why Can't We All Just Get A Lawn?

The plants in Auradon may be preternaturally prone to perfection, but even there lawns, trees, shrubs, and flowerbeds require some maintenance to keep them from growing wild. While the trees, shrubs and flowerbeds may be less of a concern to the more practical minded of the school's current residents, the lawn at least is still an issue, since they do need to be able to walk around easily. Fortunately the gardener's shed is pretty easy to locate, and like most things in Auradon, isn't locked. Unfortunately, the gardeners seems to have been the kingdom's lone packrat, because the shed is just crammed full of stuff. Seriously, it looks like someone took the entire contents of a lawn and garden store and shoved them in there, along with who knows what else. Somewhere under all that stuff is a lawnmower- there must be- but locating it is definitely gonna be more than a one person job.

Do ~~Not~~ Adjust Your Set

The current residents of Auradon might not be able to physically reach the Isle just yet, but they do have one thing that can. Namely TV signals. Unfortunately, basically everything being broadcast to the Isle kind of sucks, in a 'so sugary you wonder how you don't get diabetes just from watching it' kind of way. Fortunately, there's a solution for that! One the way to the coast, one of the places our intrepid heroes have come across is a broadcasting station, so it might be possible to change the programming roster to something a bit less saccharine. That is, assuming they can figure out how to work the equipment. Including figuring out how it's even still broadcasting at all.

Isle

Rain, Rain, Go Away

The rain in Spain might fall mainly on the plain, but rain on the Isle is much less picky. Which normally wouldn't be too much of a problem, since there wasn't really anything preventing people from going inside. What is a problem is when the rain decides to come inside too. The roof of Dragon Hall- never really in the greatest condition to start with- has begun leaking. And not just a little drip in one spot; no, that would be too simple. But a lot of leaks, in a lot of places. And ones that are getting worse the longer they're there. Fortunately- kinda- this wasn't the first time such a thing had happened, so Professor Yen Sid knows how to whip up some putty to seal the cracks. Unfortunately, making it in sufficient quantity would take a little while so in the mean time, the residents of the Isle will have to resort to trash bins, buckets, pots, teakettles, mugs, or anything else they can find that might hold water. Better get hunting, if you don't want someone else to find all the actually useful containers. Or alternately, you could just decide to forget about everyone else and just try and find a place where you and your stuff won't get wet for the duration. That's totally being evil and not just being lazy, right?

Doomy Dooms of Doom

Let's face it, no one likes the Doomstones. Even the ones who carved them probably didn't like them. But being large pieces of stone, they're rather hard to get rid of, so most people stick to just defacing them with spray paint. Not you though; you've got ambitions. Or maybe you're just really sick of those evil platitudes. Either way, you've had all you can stand of them and you can't stand any more!. Something must be done! Preferably something destructive. Thus begins your quest for Stuff That Can Break Stone. Surely the ones who carved them must have kept their tools somewhere, right? Or maybe someone who was involved n the construction of the Isle's buildings left a nice big sledgehammer laying around somewhere? One can dream, at least.

And of course, such destructive aspirations are best shared. So the moment you run into someone, you plan to try and rope them into helping you. Shouldn't be too hard to convince them, right? After all, who doesn't like to break stuff?

Where’s the Lawnmower?
(Just moments ago, he was in Avalon trying to say good bye to his familiar Rose and whoever he has met in there and was about to return home. But the next thing he knew as soon as he tries to step into the Headmaster’s Office, Harry James Potter soon lands into Auradon Prep without any warning what so over. Which explains why he has a hard time trying to focus on finding that elusive lawnmower just moments after he arrived.

So much information he has to sink, trying to get used to having his world’s magic back together with his Avalon magic, and his head still dizzying, he tries to figure how to open the garden tool shed and wondering how many tools are there in that shed. He turns around to find anyone willing to help him out in getting in.)

I guess that we should head over to the broadcasting station to see how we can get the signals working.

(It appears that Harry has been dragged into this plan to get the TV signals from the Isle and, while he has no experience in tinkering with electronics aside from him fixing his alarm clock, he is bringing in support to the people who are willing to get the signals in the Isle working.

Wondering if the plan will work out for everyone, he asks the person he is joining with for any ideas and how they will get to do it.)

She had been coming outside for a walk when she spotted...

"HARRY?!" she squealed and rushed at him. If he didn't stop her or dodge they were likely to wind up in a tangle on the ground, because she was charging at him at full speed.

Before he could try to do anything or move a single muscle, Harry is then greeted by a flash of a pink jumpsuit and a big tackle onto the ground. It all happened within a blur and he didn’t have time to react accordingly, however once he looked at who was running towards him, he slowly gives out a warm smile.

“Oh hi, Kyoko. I didn’t know that you’re also in here too.”

She grinned, sitting up. "Yeah! This place is pretty amazing! And I made friends with a fairy! and there is a guy here who looks like a fairy and has animal magic, so I think he's a fairy and doesn’t know it..."

“Oh wow, this is really great to hear. I got to say, I was quite stumped upon arriving in here from Avalon,” Harry sheepishly admits to her, “Oh, so your new friends could talk to animals or turn into animals? Possibly even both? Is that right.”

“Wait, did you said flowers that can let us see our mums and feathers to let us see our teachers?” Harry’s eyes widen in surprise, not knowing how to process the information.

As much as he misses his parents and his teachers back home, he isn’t too sure if he would like to experience seeing them through other items. And this is coming from a man who had seen a lot of things before he could turn 18.

"I don't know yet, they were only here a few weeks, but more amazing stuff might keep happening! And there is an actual KING AND QUEEN here too!" Depressingly, the queen was more Natsu it seemed than a proper princess, but still!

As in, actual royalty like King Arthur?” Harry couldn’t help pondering on the fact this place has real royalty just like in Avalon or even the UK with the Queen, “Do you get to see them very often? I’m just wondering if it is possible to have an audience or a personal meeting with them.”

Color him interested, Auradon is starting to look more interesting by the seconds.

She nodded. "The King looks like h just stepped out of a storybook, even! Oh! And my new fairy friend says she knows MERLIN! And yeah, the King and Queen have audiences all the time and the king often works outside so we can find him and the Queen... Um... I'm not sure what she does really, other than stomping around looking scary."

“Oh that’s good to hear. For a moment I thought that they are always too busy to have meet ups with the public,” Harry lets out a sigh of relief.

He does wonder what Kyoko means by Auradon’s Queen stomping around looking scary, but it brings to mind how much people were initially afraid of Sirius during his wrongful imprisonment; although the older man was clearly no slouch on the dueling aspect. Or even Aragog and his kin, or even many of Hagrid’s animal and magical creature friends.

“Oh, so your fairy friend does know of Merlin too! Now there are three Merlins spread across the multiverse. That’s pretty brilliant!”

Harry does wonder if he gets one, he is worried that his room might be a lot fancier than he wanted. He is for one not into so many fancy stuff growing up. And he certainly has some concerns about being in age where he can’t go to classes again when he had spent nearly two years in Avalon. But it is the mention of the castle housing a school that got his attention.

“Oh so it is just like Hogwarts too? It too happens to be housed inside a castle back in my world.”

“Wait, did you said we get to have our own rooms until more people show up? I didn’t know that it would be possible until now. That is quite a big chance from what I had in Hogwarts and in Avalon.”

Harry is pretty used to sharing rooms with the other male students back in his world and he did helped out his Celliwigan roommate as much as he could in Avalon, so it wouldn’t surprise him if he had to get roommates eventually. Roommates who would be good friends with him and not unbearably annoying like Peeves or Colin.

She gave a bright smile and grabbed his hand, running towards the castle that was the school, rather than the larger castle behind it.

Harry clearly can’t hide his excitement as Kyoko takes to the school castle, hoping to see what does the school have in store for him. It is almost like going back to Hogwarts once again but it is in another world this time.

And while a part of him still yearns to go home again and sort out what he wants to do in life in his world, right now the adrenaline is off the charts and he is very interested in seeing the school itself.

She led him into Auradon Prep and up to the girls dorms. She threw open her door into the bright pink and white room with a ton of sunlight. Her sewing kit was on one of the desks, and the same sorts of posters were up as in her room in Avalon. There were two large beds. She flopped into one of them. "See. Aren’t the rooms wonderful?"

Harry looks at how spacious rooms are and he is practically in awe seeing how beautiful the room is compared to the cupboard he once cooped inside early into his life with his relatives.

“They sure look so beautiful. I never saw rooms this magnificent before.”
